Arounds 400,000 visitors are expected in Moscow around the IIHF World Championships

It is expected that around 400,000 people will visit Moscow during the 2016 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships. Security will be tightened ahead of the events to make sure that everything goes smoothly.

Ahead of the ice hockey championship in Russia, free tourist maps of the city will be given out to visitors. The maps are in both English and Russian.

Bookmakers have begun accepting bets

According to bookmakers, the final match will be between Russia and Canada. The Canadian National team is very strong, so Russian players will have to give it their all to clench the gold.

Bookmakers are also considering Sweden and Finland in the final. Analysts doubt that Czech Republic and USA will make it to the final this year. But perhaps they'll take part in the 3rd place match.
